Festivus is a non-holiday popularized on an episode of Seinfeld ("The Strike", Season 9 Episode 10, Airdate: December 18, 1997). Although based on a real observance by the father of episode writer Dan O'Keefe, the holiday is entirely fictitious and non-religious.
